ІІ «PIZZICATO E CANTABILE» SUMMER SEASON FESTIVAL

Among all musical instruments, they are the most perfect. The organ is even called «The king of Instruments». At first glance piano keyboard and organ manual even look very similar to each other. However, organ can have seven such keyboards! The main difference is in sound formation. Pianos use a percussive power, where sound is created as the player presses a key. A key causes a hammer to hit a particular metal string within a large wooden frame. These strings are strung to different amounts of tension, causing different notes to be played from each string. The organ keyboards can be played by either hands or feet. When these keys are depressed, the player completes a circuit causing air to move through the organ. Both can compete with the whole symphony orchestra.

The essence of the organ and piano duet is as if there are TWO ORCHESTRAS in one concert.
