The 6th International Festival of "Opening Paderevskiy" will present classical and contemporary Polish music in Lviv, performed by famous artists. On the 19th of November, which is the last day of the festival, will be a concert of the Polish-American vocalist, arranger and composer, Grazhina Augustsik. She is the winner of prestigious contests, founder of the “Chopin World Sound Project” and the “Sounds and Notes Foundation”. She has also recorded 19 solo discs. Her music combines classics with ethnic motifs and jazz, and American critics rank Grazina Auguscicks one of the most entertaining figures in the jazz world. She will sing in Lviv with other guests from Poland: jazz pianist, Nicolas Kolodzeychyk, bass player, Matsey Shchytsynskiy and saxophonist, Sebastian Frankewicz will play at the Philharmonic. They program will combine jazz works and compositions by Witold Lutoslavsky and Friederick Chopin.
