THE SHORES AND CHORALES. MUSICAL PERFORMANCE TO WORKS BY O. HENRY
O. Henry worked mostly in the genre of a short story (he wrote 273 short stories). Musical staging of O. Henry’s witticism has a veiled subtext that is revealed only at the culmination. The performance is skillfully staged by Inna Pavliuk.
The accompaniment, performed by the organist Olena Matseliukh, gradually acquires sacred significance and philosophical content. Thanks to the sound of organ in today’s performance THE SHORES of dreams transforms into sublime CHORALES.
